Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded bv Councilmembcr DcLuca to request that City <br />Staff provide City Council with information regarding the issue of 60 foot versus 66 foot street <br />right-of-way widths in the urban areas. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Counciimember DeLuca requested that Cit',' Council also be provided with <br />input from the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding the issue of 6(1 versus 66 foot stre',q <br />right-of*way widths. Me'. Raatikka noted that Andover, Blaine, Champlin. Coon Rapids and <br />Brookh'n Park all require 6(I foot street rigin-of-way widths in their urban areas: some streets in <br />the Fiintwood PUD at:. platted at 60 foot widths and there have been no difficuhies encountered <br />when installing utilities. A MUSA expansion was designated to also se,we the <br />proposed plat of Cedar Hills. Mr. Anderson is requesting approval to rezone the proposed plat to <br />R-1 Urban Residential at this time. The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended approval to rezone Cedar Hills, <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmemb:r Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt Findings of <br />Fact #02~8 relating to Mr. Wally Anderson's request to rezone, the proposed Cedar Hills from R-1 <br />Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential, <br /> <br />Motion carried.
