CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, September 12, 1989 at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding the proposed ordinance to establish rates for municipal utilities. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Merland Ono/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:59 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the City Charter requires that the City fix rates for municipal utilities <br />by Ordinance, preceded by a public hearing. The proposed ordinance keeps rates as they <br />currently are. However, at some point in the future them may be a need for a rate increase. <br />City Council can expect a report from City Staff by the first of the year on a cost of service <br />analysis that would include a recommendation of what should happen to utility rates and <br />how they may be adjusted. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson and DeLuca. <br />Voting No: None.
