During the year, the City amended <br />the final expenditure budget for open positions that were not filled during the year and for department <br />efforts to control costs. As the graph displays, <br />expenditures decreased in all categories presented above, with the exception of general government, <br />which increased $54,570, and other, which increased $186,262. The increase in other expenditures <br />includes additional capital outlay of $209,667 over the prior fiscal year. <br />-13- <br />
