Personnel at },'lAC have <br />indicated thai consideration is being given to hiring consultants to research the impact of <br />including Gateway and South St. Paul in MAC's rdiever airport system. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel provided the Comn',ission with an update regarding Ramsev's request to <br />Metro Council for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to expand the MUS~, boundaries. <br />Chairman Ippel noted that Metro Council's response to the request for a MUSA expansion <br />includes discussion of Gatwav North Airport and indicates that Metro Council supports <br />public ownership of it. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippels stated that ti~e City is also waiting for a determination from the Attorney <br />General as to whether or not the Ramsey Air0ort Zoning Referendum was in conflict with <br />State Statute. Thc particular State Statute indicates thal land use issues cannot be resolved <br />by referendum. <br /> <br />Commissioner Greenberg dismissed himself from the meeting at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />}`'lotion by Commissioner Emeu, and seconded by Commissioner Dahlin to adjourn the <br />regular A{rpon Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
