Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-02- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />156TH AVENUE N.W. STREET IMPROVEMENT FROM RAMSEY BLVD. N.W. TO HIGH <br />POINT ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition on for the improvement of 156th <br />Avenue N.W. between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. to High Point Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A certain petition requesting the improvement of 156th Avenue N.W. between <br />Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and High Point Addition has been filed with the City Council on February 14, <br />1989. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected <br />property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to the City of Ramsey ordinance <br />210.01 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br /> 2) The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he is <br />instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should <br />be best to be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) The above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Project #89-2. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of February, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
