One of the programs the Economic Development Commission is currently <br />pursuing is a business hospitality program which will include a visit to a new business, <br />preparation of a proclamation from the Mayor, and an article in the Ramsey Resident <br />newsletter. The purpose of this program is to demonstrate support for local businesses <br />establishing in Ramsey, to support the economic community, and to establish a line of <br />communication between the City of Ramsey, the Economic Development Commission, and <br />the business. <br /> <br />Receive and review letter from Mr. Jay McLinden, Anoka County Administrator, <br />regarding "Truth in Taxation" law. Mr. McLinden is requesting that cities, school <br />districts, and the County coordinate the establishment of the hearing dates ~or the new <br />"Truth in Taxation" law. We ask that the Council read Mr. McLinden's letter and <br />anticipate scheduling the City's meeting/hearing on Tuesday, September 19, 1989 <br />(enclosed). <br /> <br />Adopt resolution entering into an agreement with the State of Minnesota to receive <br />Preliminary Breath Tester (PBT) (enclosed). <br /> <br /> <br />
