· Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #89-02- Resolution granting final plat approval of Holasek Addition. WHEREAS, Stephen and Gloria Holasek, hemin~ter referred to as D,~'~ ~lopers , have properly appiied for plat approval (via the UPA) the foiiowing described propert3, located in the City of Ramsey: That part of the North One-half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying easterly of the center line of County State Aid Highway No. 5, and lying north and east of the following described line and the westerly extension thereof: Beginning at a point on the East line of said North One-half of the Southeast Quarter distant 337.01 feet north from the Southeast comer thereof: thence west ~,'~!e! wi,& the South line of said North One- half of the Southeast Quarter for 740'.32 feet; thence north parallel with said East line of said North One-half of the Southeast Quarter to an intersection with the North line of the South 729.11 feet, as measured at right angles, of said North One- half of the Southeast Quarter; thence west along said North line of the South 729. I 1 feet to said center line of County State Aid Highway No. 5 and there terminating. EXCEPTING therefrom all that part of said North One-half of the Southeast Quarter described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of said County State Aid Highway No. 5 with the North line of said North One- half of the Southeast Quarter, said point being located 1970.56 feet west of the Northeast comer of said North One-half of the Southeast Quarter, said point being assumed bearing of East along said North line for 729.20 feet; thence South 32 degrees 03 minutes 18 seconds East for 353.97 feet; thence on a bearing of West parallel with said North line to intersect said center line of County State Aid Highway No. 5; thence northwesterly along said center line to the point of beginning. AREA: 25.9 acres, more or less. WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on February 7, 1989 to consider the developers request for sketch plan review of Holasek Addition; at which time the Commission recommended that the developer proceed to f'mal plat approval; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission met on February 9, 1989 to consider the developers request for sketch plan review of Holasek Addition; at which time the Commission recommended that the developer proceed to final plat approval; and accept land for the east/west trail corridor within the Lot 1, Block 1, United Power Association property (33' wide); and 35' wide through Lot 2, Block 1, with the remainder in cash to satisfy park dedication requirements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota, as follows: That final plat approval of Holasek Addition is granted contingent upon the following: The developers providing proof of marketable title for the property to the City of Ramsey. Park dedication requirement shall be fulfilled in accordance with City Council's request for park dedication in effect at the time of the subdivision application, and in accordance with Park and Recreation Commission recommendation. C. Drainage easement around each lot measuring ten (10') feet wide.
