'"' <br />approval (via the UPA). <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision consists of t Block and 2 Lots. The property is located East of <br />Nowthen Boulevard and South of 153rd Avenue No.~hwest. The land abuts the Ramsev <br />Municipal Center on the North. The area is zoned B-1 Business Dis~ct and has a total area of <br />approximately 24.4 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on Februa.D' '7, 1989 to consider the <br />developers request for sketch plan review of Hoiasek Addition; at which time the Commission <br />recommended that the developer proceed to final plat approval. The Ramsey Park and Recreation <br />Commission met on February 9, 1989 also to consider the fleveloper's request for sketch plan <br />approval of Holasek Addition. The Park and Recreation Commission recommended that park <br />dedication requirements be satisfied by requiring the United Power Association, owners of Lot 1, <br />Block 1 to provide cash in the amount of 10/~. of market value of that lot to satisfy park dedication <br />requirements. Furthermore, the Park and Recreation Commission recommended hhat in the event <br />the City purchases Lot 2, Block 1, that the park dedication requkement be satisfied by land <br />dedication to the Parks Department. In the event the City purchases only a portion or none of Lot <br />2, Block 1 of Holasek Addition, park dedicaiton requirement will be satisfied by cash.
