Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-02- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING BID FOR RADIO EQUIPMENT FOR THE <br />RAMSEY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Fire Agencies' Purchasing Consortium has received <br />competitive bids consistent with the Uniform Purchasing Code for the following radio <br />equipment: <br /> <br />22 Pagers - Motorola Model H03UMC1222N <br /> $416.00/each = $9,152.00 <br /> <br />2 Portable Radios - Motorola Model H03UMC1222N <br /> $686.00/each = $1,372.00 <br /> <br />1 Portable Radio - <br /> <br />Motorola Model H43GU7100N <br />$782.00/each = $782.00 <br /> <br />1 Truck Radio (Grass Rig) - Motorola Model D43MJA7DA5K <br /> $700.00/each = $700.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, on February 1, 1989 the Ramsey Fire Board recommended receiving <br />bids for radio equipment from the Minnesota Fire Agencies' Purchasing Consortium as stated <br />above. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> I ) That the City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of radio equipment for the <br />Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department through the Minnesota Fire Agencies' Purchasing <br />Consortium. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of February,1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
