Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-02- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR W. B. MILLER, INC. (PROJECT <br />#88-13 RUM RIVER TERRACE SITE IMPROVEMENT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this <br />project on March 1988; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution #88- awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the <br />improvements to Rum River Terrace; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. <br />in the amount of $3,135.00. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment <br />to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the site improvements to Rum River <br />Terrace in the amount of $3,135.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not <br />included in Resolution %89-02 approving payment of bills for the <br />month of February, 1989. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a <br />signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this 28th day of February, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
