CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBUC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA~ <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, January 10, 1989 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding uses for <br />1989 Community Development Block Grant funds. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br /> <br />Aisc Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hadley <br />City Altorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Mark Banwart noted that due 1o Federal Administration poticy, use of CDBG funds for <br />economic development activities is not prudent because the amount of paperwork is <br />disproportionate to what the program amounts to. A better use of the funds might be for <br />continued work with the handicapped. ., <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adjourn the public <br />hearin9. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann. Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Peterson and <br />Cich.
