Case ~ 3 <br /> <br />RIVER'S BEND PARK SOUTH DEVELOPMENT <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~89-1 <br /> <br />By: Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />We are in the process of completing the plans and specifications <br />for the River's Bend Park - South Development. Those plans and <br />specifications will be available for review and approval at the <br />council meeting. <br /> <br />A contract(s) ~ust be awarded prior to April 1, 1989 for the city <br />to receive the~136,000± in CDBG funds for the project. Ms. <br />JoAnne Wright has indicated that the April 1st deadline may be <br />extended if the reason for delay is beyond the control of the <br />city. <br /> <br />I have contacted each of the agencies concerned (Anoka Co., DNR, <br />and the Corps of Engineers) regarding the alternative access road <br />alignment. We have not at this date received approvals back from <br />these agencies.
