Case ~ 5 <br /> <br /> MUSA EXPAlgSION <br />By: Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The amendment to the City's comprehensive plan which would allow <br />for expansion of the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (..~USA) <br />boundaries was submitted to Metropolitan Council on January 26, <br />1988. As was indicated to the Council, several items in the <br />amendment were either contrary to MC's policies or were of some <br />concern to them. Among these were restriction of "exurban" <br />developments (i.e. 2.5 acre development), sanitary sewer hook ups, <br />and septic system regulation. <br /> <br />On February 17, MC staff again raised these issues.
