Case #2: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL OF BERG TOWER: <br />CASE OF CLAYTON BERG <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Clayton Berg is requesting site plan review for a two story office building addition abutting an <br />existing building (car wash). The new structure is proposed to be 29' x 70' and have two stories. <br />The structure would be of materials similar to the abutting car wash. The building would be <br />located on a portion of Lot 3, Block 1 of River's Bend Plaza Addition and Lot 1, Block 1 of <br />River's Bend Plaza 3rd Addition. Use of zero lot line setbacks is proposed and can be approved <br />since this is located in a Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.). For your information, attached are <br />the following items: <br /> <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br />E. <br /> <br />Site location map <br />City Engineer's review (January 31, 1989) <br />Applicant Response (February 14, 1989) <br />City Engineer's review (February 28, 1989) <br />Proposed Development Agreement (available at meeting) <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On February 7, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission tabled action for Mr. Berg's <br />request for site plan approval until all items in the City Engineer's report of January 31, 1989 were <br />complied with. On March 7, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission recommended <br />site plan approval with the following conditions: Items are noted in the City Engineer's' report <br />dated February 28, 1989 are complied with. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends site plan approval contingent upon meeting requirements as set forth in the City <br />Engineer's letter dated February 28, 1989. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend approval/denial of Clayton Berg's site plan. <br /> <br />Review Chec 'klist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer X <br />Community Development Director .
