Box 19012 <br />Green Bay, WI 54307-9012 <br />414/497-2500 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Harman: <br /> <br />88W5-15 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Anoka Regional Sanitary Landfill <br />Application for Waste Tire Processing Facility License <br /> <br /> Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. is proposing to operate a <br />· waste tire processing facility in the City of Ramsey, <br /> Minnesota. The facility will be located east of active <br /> filling operations at the Anoka Regional Sanitary Landfill. <br /> Enclosed is an application for a license and the proposed <br /> operational procedures for the facility. <br /> <br />Figure No. 1 attached indicates the location of the proposed <br />processing facility in relation to the landfill site. Figure <br />No. 2 attached provides a detailed illustration of the site <br />layout. <br /> <br />The processing facility will be beneficial to the area because <br />it will recycle waste products which, in their present ~orm, <br />are a nuisance. <br /> <br />A permit application for operation of the proposed waste tire <br />processing facility has also been submitted to MPCA.
