RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka owns and operates a County park known as <br />Mississippi West County Park near Traprock Street N.W. and Highway 10; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County received this property from Herb and Marcella Huseby on <br />condition they retain a life estate interest in the property; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County is seeking to expand the Mississippi West County Park to <br />include property adjacent to the Park on the West; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is seeking development of certain park property situated <br />adjacent to Highway 10, and road, sewer, and utility easements will be necessary from the <br />County and Husebys for that development; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County and the Husebys are willing to cooperate with the City in said <br />development; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey encourages the development of the Park for the benefit <br />of its citizens; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey does approve the <br />expansion of the Mississippi West County Park as detailed by the Anoka County Parks <br />Department and shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br /> BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that City staff work with County personnel and the <br />Husebys to reach an agreement on the size and location of said easements and development <br />area. <br /> <br /> <br />
