ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS <br /> <br />A. Air Quality Control - As explained in the engineer's report, the <br />~urnace ia being upgraded to include a bagger house to remove the <br />particulates from the furnace emissions. <br /> <br />B. Water Ouality - Becaume no water is being umed in this system, <br />the only water immue is that of the water requirementm for <br />employees. That ismue is being addressed by upgrading the septic <br />system on the mite. <br /> <br />C. Oil Ismuem - By the time the feed stock reaches Danny'm <br />Aluminum Processing, Inc., from Danny's Trannys, Inc., ell the <br />transmission parts have been meparated and all oil has been drained <br />from the tranmmissions. There may be an oil film on the parts, but <br />any oil dripping from those parts should be very, very slight. <br />Also, there will be no storage of any materials on the soil. All <br />soil will be protected by hard-surfacing, whether inside or outside, <br />so the oil should not be a problem. <br /> <br />COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE OPERATION <br /> <br />Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. and /ts owner, Daniel W. Karat, <br />Jr., are committed to complying ~ith all standards established <br />either now or in the £uture by the Environmental ProtectiOn Agency <br />or the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />In ~ddition, both commit to taking all reasonable steps to keep the <br />environment sa~e whether the issue relatem to soil, water or air <br />contamination. <br /> <br />Both are committed to upgrading the equipment <br />change and as the technology provides more <br />resolving environmental issues. <br /> <br /> as the standards <br />e~£icient ways <br /> <br /> <br />
