CASE # 10 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF COMPREHENSIVE PARK DEDICATION AGREEb{ENT OF ENTIRE NORTH <br />FORK P.U.D. <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Dir~tor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On February 7, 1989, the Ramsay Planning and Zoning Commission in reviewing the sketch plan <br />for North Fork 3rd Addition, adopted a motion which recommended requiring a comprehensive <br />park dedication agreement for the entire North Fork P.U.D. be developed and adopted prior to <br />proceeding x~ith North Fork 3rd Addition. Further, that the agreement adopted be approved by the <br />Ramsay Park and Recreation Commission, l~amsey Planning and Zoning Commission, and the <br />Ramsay City Council. <br /> <br />Obser~,ations: <br /> <br />On March 2, 1989, there was a joint meeting of the Ramsay City Council, Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, Park and Recreation Commission, and Economic Development Commission to <br />review a proposal for a comprehensive park dedication agreement for the entire North Fork P.U.D. <br />An outcome of this meeting was the creation of a select committee to negotiate final details of such <br />an agreement. On March 14, 1989, the select committee met and arrived at a tentative agreement <br />in principle. On March 30, 1989, City Staff and North Fork, Inc. met to review a draft amendment <br />to the park dedication agreement for Northfork P.U.D, On April 13, 1989, the Ramsay Park and <br />Recreation Commission accepted the proposed land dedication portion of the Amended Park <br />Dedication Agreement and recommended no changes in the cash payment (10%) requirement for <br />lands West of Andrie Street. On April 11, 1989, the Ramsay Planning and Zoning Commission <br />made the recommendation of accepting the proposed land dedication portion of the Amended Park <br />Dedication ~reement and to establish $500.00 per lot at the time of final plat approval for the area <br />West of Andrie Street. For your information, the following items are offered: <br /> <br />A. Northfork P.U.D. Park Dedication Agreement dated February 19, 1987). <br /> <br />North Fork, Inc. letter regarding Park Dedication Agreement (April 6, <br />1989) <br /> <br />C. Proposed amendment to Park Dedication Agreement for Northfork P.U.D. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends acceptance of the amendment to the Park Dedication Agreement for Entire <br />Northfork P.U.D. as fas as the land dedication portion of the proposed amendment.
