Con~,issioner Sh~,way noted that the acquifer reaches Rum Acres Estates <br />before it reaches the City well; assum, m the pure. ping of water for Juniper <br />Woods will not affect, the water ~able in Rum Acre Estates. <br /> <br />Tom Patchen - Stated he was involved when the first City well was developed <br />and confirmed that at that time, Tom Renner stated that pumping to any <br />great extent will draw down the water table. <br /> <br />Janet Itoule - 15230 Salish Street - Inquired why the City is considering <br />allowing a high density develo~nent adjacent to a subdivision of one acre <br />lots and possibly creating problems. Stated that waiting until River's <br />Bend is completely developed is a more timely and orderly fashion for <br />ex'sending sewer and water. <br /> <br />Chairman Zinm~rman replied that in Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan, Which was <br />auproved by Metro Council, this area was sited for municipal sewer and <br />water.
