Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #13-07-120 RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION ON JULY 30, 2013 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be conducting a Special Election to elect a Councilmember for Ward 1, on Tuesday, July 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and WHEREAS, the hourly rate of pay will be $9.00 for regular election judges and $9.50 for chairs. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCI OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the Special Election to be held on July 30, 2013: Marlene Kroll, Barbara Tokar, Carol Fedora -Myrick, Colleen Graber, Deb Koepsell, Roger McCulley, Judith Olson, Gem Wicht, Kevin Efram, Nancy Giddings, Jan Cameron, Eileen Mevissen, and Bernard Wiklund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of July, 2013.
