WHEREAS, <br /> Chapter 4410.3610 of Minnesota Rules allows for a local unit of government <br />to use an Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) environmental review process instead of <br />and EAW and EIS; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City adopted an AUAR for the The COR, then known as Ramsey Town <br />Center, in 2003 (the “2003 AUAR”) and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City desires to update the 2003 AUAR following the same AUAR <br />process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City ordered the AUAR Update on April 23, 2013; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Official Comment Period closed on June 12, 2013. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That the City hereby adopts the Final AUAR Update as regulated by Chapter 4410.3610 <br />of Minnesota Rules be conducted in relation to The COR development in an area. <br /> <br /> <br />2. That the environmental review contained in the AUAR document shall be based off of the <br />concept plan as commonly known as Development Plan 6.02. <br /> <br /> <br />3.That the environmental review contained in the AUAR document shall be based on having <br />a potential total of 2,200 residential and up to 1,724,042 square feet of leasable commercial, <br />retail, office, and institutional square footage. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br />RESOLUTION #13-07-119 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
