-2- <br /> <br />Cities can choose from one of two options: <br /> 1. Bring the Animal to the Shelter <br /> or <br /> 2. Cage and hold uninjured Animals, to be picked <br /> up by the Humane Society the following <br /> day.(Holding cages may be purchased through the <br /> Humane Society at cost.) <br /> <br />III . <br /> <br />After normal Business hours, any injured <br />Animals, that are in a life threaten condition <br />may be tr'ansported, by the City to <br />AFFILIATED EMERGENCY VETERINARY SERVICES, <br /> (see attached sheet),for medical <br />treatment, at no additional cost to the City.. <br />The Humane Society will then pick up the \ <br />Animal the following day, after treatment, or <br />as soon there after as possible. <br /> <br />Additional Services <br /> <br />1. Boarding more than' five days. <br /> <br />Transportation services to the University of <br />Minnesota for rabies examination. <br /> <br />3. Patrol <br /> <br />COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />A. The Municipality shall .pay'. the Humane Society <br /> the sum of. $_5~_~ for~basic services stated <br /> in paragraph II.A, at .45d per capita per <br /> year based on annual census information provided <br /> by the Metropolitan Council. (See Exhibit A <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference.) <br /> <br /> A 25% discount will be extended to Cities that use <br /> Community Service Officers for Animal control and <br /> delivery of Animals to the Humane Society, during <br /> and .after normal Business hours. <br />B. Additional service charges stated in Paragraph <br /> II.B. are as follows: <br /> <br />Boarding for more than five days when the <br />animal has to be quarantined: $7.00 per <br />day. <br /> <br />Transporting animals for rabies <br />examinations: $__]fi_fi~__ per hour. <br /> <br />Patrol hours requested by city $_0__5_DD- per <br />hour. <br /> CON'T ON PAGE 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
