ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />LIONS CLUB <br /> <br /> We, the undersigned, for the purpose of forming a <br />corporation under and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 317, <br />Minnesota Statutes, known as the Minnesota Nonprofit Corporation <br />ACt, do hereby associate ourselves together as a body corporate <br />and adopt the following Articles of Incorporation: <br /> <br /> ARTICLE I. <br /> <br /> The name of this corporation is RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. <br /> <br /> \ <br /> \ <br /> ARTICL~ II. <br /> <br /> The purpose o~'this corporation shall be to foster and <br />promote service ~o its community; to conform to the principles <br />and program- of State, District, and International Lions Clubs; to <br />promote the theory and practice of the principles of good government <br />and good citizenship; to take an ac:ire interest in the civic, social, <br />and moral welfare of the community; to unite the members in the <br />bonds of friendship and mutual unders=anding; to promote high ethical <br />standards in business and profession and relationships among people; <br />and to hold and own proper=y, both real and personal, for the public <br /> <br />good. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE Iii. <br /> <br /> This corporation shall not afford pec.uniary gain, incidental <br />or otherwise, to its m-~hers. . <br /> <br /> ARTICLE IV. <br /> <br /> The period of duration of corporate existence of this <br />corporation shall be perpetual. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE V. <br /> <br /> The registered office and the primary location of this <br />corporation is in the City of P~m~ey, Minnesota.
