In addition, as we have already discussed, you are required by Minn. <br />Stat. § 115.061 (1988) to properly handle any contaminated soils you displace or <br />excavate and any contaminated water you pump. <br /> <br />Proper handling of the soils would initially include stockpiling the soils on <br />the site over a sheet of plastic and completely covered by plastic, and <br />proposing to the MPCA a method to dispose of the soil. Acceptable methods of <br />disposal inc].~de landspreadinc and incineration (see enclosed information sheets <br />on soil treatment). <br /> <br />The MPCA assumes no liability for your actions taken at this site.
