OI~iNANCE }4<) o ~ ~- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Ai~OKA COUNTY, MI~q~ESOTA <br /> <br />AMEh'D:.:ENT TO CHAPTER 130.0.~ ORDINANCE NO. 89-8, WHICH IS AN <br />ORDINANCE LICENSING A]~D REGULATING THE SALE OF OFF-SALE <br />INTOXICATING LIQUOR, REPEALING INCONSISTERT ORDINA]:CES AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION. <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />Section 130.052 of said Ordinance No. 89-8 is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />130.052 REQUIRED LICENSE <br /> <br />Off-Sa~e License. <br /> <br />No person, except wholesalers or manufacturers to the <br />extent authorized under state license, shall directly or <br />indirectly deal in, sell, or keep for sale any <br />intoxicating liquor for "off sale" sale without first <br />having received a license to do so as provided in this <br />section. "Off-sale" licenses shall be issued only to <br />drug stores and exclusive liquor stores and shall pe_~mit <br />"off-sale" of liquor only. No "off-sale" license shall <br />be issued to the "on-sale" liquor licenses. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. PENALTY. <br /> <br /> Any person convicted of a violation of any of the provisions <br />of this ordinance shall be punished by'a fine of not more than <br />seven hundred ($700) dollars or by imprisonment for a period of <br />not more than ninety (90) days, cr both. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTi%~E DATE. <br /> <br /> This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty <br />(30) days after its publication according to law, subject to City <br />Charter Provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br /> <br />
