Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF MS. KAY MCALONEY AS PERSONNEL <br />COORDINATOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee of the City Council of Ramsey met on May <br />8, 1989 at 5:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center to conduct interviews of applicants for <br />the position of Personnel Coordinator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee of the City Council of Ramsey met on May <br />16, 1989 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss filling the position of Personnel Coordinator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on interviews and the recommendation of the City <br />Administrator and Finance Officer, the Personnel Committee has recommended to the City <br />Council that an employment offer be extended to Ms. Kay McAIoney for the position of Personnel <br />Coordinator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee recommends an annual starting rate of pay <br />of $18,500 and that the official starting date be May 30, 1989. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That the City Administrator is authorized to extend an offer of <br />employment to Ms. Kay McAIoney for the position of Personnel Coordinator with an annual <br />starting pay rate of $18,500. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 23rd day of May, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />:' Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
