THE CITY OF RAMSEY TRAILBLAZER PROGRAM APPLICATION <br /> 1989 <br /> (rough draft) <br />This program offers numerous learning experiences and builds basic work habit/opportunities for <br />Ramsey boys and girls who are between the ages of 13 and 15 years of age. <br /> <br />The Trailblazers, who are employed with the City of Ramsey will Ihave the opportunity to assist with <br />the City's Public Works Department in Ihaving the opportunity to maintain existing parks, to gain <br />painting experience, to assist with landscaping. Besides initiating some creativity in beautifying <br />the community, the Trailblazers will have the opportunity to earn spending money and to have fun <br />attending atdp to Valleyfair. <br /> <br />The Trailblazer Program will run for two sessions, accepting 8 different boys and girls in each <br />session. Each session will be three week in length. The session be for 4 days with the last day <br />the trip to valleyfair. <br /> <br />Hours will be 8:30-3:00 with 1/2 hour for lunch. Bring your lunch from home. Pay is $2.75 per <br />hour. Clothing should be very casual and appropriate for the weather. One T-Shirt will be <br />provided free to each participant. <br /> <br />PLEASE NOTE: TOBACCO, DRUG/ALCOHOL USE/POSESSION, ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, <br />INTENTIONAL DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, AND OTHER BEHAVIORS DEEMED <br />DISRUPTIVE BY THE TRAILBLAZER SUPERVISOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY <br />RESULT IN DISMISSAL FROM THE PROGRAM. <br /> <br />The opportunity to be employed by the city is limited to 10 Ramsey boys and girls.
