RESOLUTION NO. 89- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOK~ COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR VACATING OF EASEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain drainage and ponding, street and utility and <br />trailway easements have been acquired by the City during the <br />Development of the NORTHFORK P.U.D.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain of said easements are no longer necessary for <br />use by the City and the public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the original need of the City for said easements has <br />been replaced by other easements which adequately address the <br />City's requirements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer of the NORTHFORK P.U.D. has requested <br />that the City vacate the said easements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MSA 412.851 entitled "Vacation of Streets" permits <br />the City council to vacate public grounds and public ways; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 13, 1989, the city held a Public Hearing on <br />the issue of vacating the Said easements in the NORTHFORK P.U.D. <br />which Public Hearing was proceeded by two weeks' published notice <br />in the Anoka County Union and posted notice and at which Public <br />Hearing all members of the public present were given an opportunity <br />to be heard; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after consideration of all relevant factors the City <br />Council finds that it is in the best interest of the public to <br />vacate the said drainage and ponding, street and utility and <br />trailway easements. <br /> <br /> <br />
