We hope to promote active living and integrate physical activity into daily
routines. The City has adopted a Master Trail Plan to create a regional, interconnected trail
system. The City of Ramey's goal is to ensure that when the city is fully developed, at least 50%
of residents live within 2000 feet of an active park space and a trail. This project benefits the
safety, walkability and bikeability of this trail location.
With the City of Ramsey, we are committed to making the healthy choice, the easy choice
through the incorporation of active living principles into multimodal transportation planning
As a SHIP partner, the City of Ramsey is working to implement policy, system and
environmental changes that create active communities and ultimately, improve health. The city's
efforts to increase access and reduce barriers to opportunities for physical activity are to be
commended.
Sincerely,
lnak(;).24)Tne,772-04tudi
Marina McManus, Director
Community Health & Environmental Services
MM:pr
Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
