Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />HRA RESOLUTION #13-09-164 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DAVE PERKINS <br />CONTRACTING INC. FOR PROJECT 13-12 COR THREE NORTH COMMONS <br />UTILITIES (4 LOTS) <br />WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority considered the COR THREE <br />plat at their May 28, 2013 meeting. They directed staff to develop 4 lots on the west side of the <br />park. The lots are on the east side of Zeolite Street NW. The approved work included <br />installation of sewer and water services, repair of the street where the services were installed and <br />installation of sidewalk and driveway aprons. <br />WHEREAS, the City solicited quotes from contractors on July 23, 2013. The quotes <br />were opened on July 29, 2013. Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. submitted the low Quote of <br />$91,712. <br />WHEREAS, as of September 24, 2013 $0 has been paid to date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. in the amount of $65,399.90. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. <br />for Improvement Project #13-12; in the amount of $65,399.90. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of September 24, 2013. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #13-09-164 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
