By: <br /> <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-10 <br /> HEMATITE STREET N.W. <br /> Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />CASE ~, 6 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br /> On May 2, 1989 the City Council held a public hearing on the <br />paving of Hematite Street between 154th Lane N.W. and 300 feet <br />south of 156th Avenue N.W. The sixty day waiting pel~od as <br />required by City Charter has expired. <br /> <br /> .~_The City has received petitions both in favor and opposed to <br />the~project by 50 percent (50%) of the affected owners on each <br />petition. Based on the City Charter and the City Attorneys <br />opinion, the city Council can proceed with the project. <br /> <br /> Enclosed is a proposed resolution ordering the improvement and <br />preparation of the plans.
