Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 089-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 156TH <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 089-2. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement of bids for the Street <br />Improvement Project 089-2, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying <br />with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />AND, WHEREAS, it appears that of <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br /> in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />156th Avenue N.W. Street Improvement Project ~89-2 according to the <br />plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The city Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutions was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey city Council this the llth day of July, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
