He is requesting a 16' x 24' expansion to the <br />existing office building located at 7255 W Highway 10. The PIN 28-32-25-44-000.~. (May 12, 1989) <br />City Engineer's review (June 6, 198~c) <br />Proposed Development Permit <br /> <br />Observations' <br /> <br />On May 12, 1989, the City received application for site plan approval from Skelgas, Inc. Mr. <br />Ward has presented a letter requesting consideration to retain Class 5 gravel in lieu of blacktop <br />in the driveway area while having blacktop in the area in front of the office building. The <br />existing building does have steel siding. In addition, a number of other items are reviewed in <br />the Cily Engineer's review of June 6, 1989. <br /> <br />On June 12, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the <br />site plan submitted by Mr. Kearn Ward of Skelgas, Inc. contingent upon compliance with the <br />items contained in the City Engineer's report dated June 6, 1989, concerning screening and <br />blacktop suHacing the area as far back as the rear of the parking lot and with siding that is <br />compatible with the existing structure. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends for the allowance of steel siding on the proposed addition in order to be <br />consistent with the existing building facade. <br /> <br />Staff recommends site plan approval contingent upon meeting requirements set forth in City <br />Engineer's review letter dated June 6, 1989. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend approval/denial of Kearn Ward's site plan contingent upon compliance <br />with the items contained in the City Engineer's reeport dated June 6, 1989, specifically, <br />screening and blacktop surfacing the area as far back as the rear of the parking area .and with <br />siding that is compatible with the existing structure. <br /> <br />l~view Checklist: <br /> <br />Cib' Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Po]ice <br />Finance Officer <br />Planning & Zoning Comm. <br />Building Official <br /> <br /> <br />
