Tim Dusbabek - 7821 171st Avenue N.W. - Read the following letter:

"This letter is in regards to the proposed Dellwood Hills Add/don. We have some concerns
that we would like to address.

The fL-st concern is the increase in ri'afdc past our homes. The section of 17!st Avenue
N.W. that links Bison Street to Zeolite Avenue currently serves as tlne route of choice for
tlne present homeowners on Bison Sn'eet to go south to \:arlolite Avenue. The ~:ernafive is
to go no, th on Bison Street to Coun5' Road 63, east to Va:doike and then south.
Subsequently, with more homes being built on Bison, the traf~c flow will obviously
increase. We feel that this increase would have an adverse affect on o,~ neighborhood
considering the number of families with young cMidren under the age of 12. Along the
route 171st to Zeolite to 169th, alone, out of 22 homes, 17 have chil~en under the age of
12. More ua. file just means a ~eater ~sk of a chi.ld getting

Our second cone. em is that nine homes may not appear to pose much of a n'affic increase,
however, there is considerable undevelop~ land to the south of the proposed development
and if that land is develop~ into residential housing and no o~er improvements are made

Planning & Zoning Publ/c Hearin~?JMay 2, 1989
Page ! of 3
