PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Comrrfission conducted a public hear/n~ on Tuesday, February <br />7, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nov,'then Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding Mr. Richard Sybrant's request for preliminary plat approval of The Noah Forty Second <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Z/merman, Chairman <br />Mr. Ten3' Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles La.Due <br />M.r. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALLTO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Lynn Pohlman - 15750 Kangaroo Street N.W. - Requested seeing the prelimina.D, pta~ layout; <br />expressed concern for :ce line between Whispering Pines and North Forty; inquired as to access <br />for North Fort),. <br /> <br />The plat was displayed in Council chambers; 158th would be extended through 'W'nispe,-dng Pines <br />into The Nonh Fort3.' for access. <br /> <br />Mr. Svbrant noted that all cul-de-sacs are intended to be tempora-D.' and developed as through <br />streets when the a~acent parcels develop. <br /> <br />Nancy Danie!son - 8~,30 !58th Stated that opening up the cul-de-sac as a through street to The <br />Nor'nh Fo~v 2nd Addition will substantially reduce her property value. <br /> <br />Mark Banwar: stated that he will research and report back to Nancy Da.nit!son the intent for the <br />1.58:h cul-de-sac but he is sure that it was intended to be developed as a through s~eet when the <br />a~acent parcel develop~,.d.~ <br /> <br />'Dan Pavlik - 8550 156t~ - Stated that what is designated as 'park' on The Noah Foxy plat abuts <br />his prope,wy; inquired as to the plans for this area designated as pm-k; if it is to bt deveio?ed as a <br />multi-use ~--'ail, he is concerned about use of it by moto~zed vehicles and the amount of <br /> <br />P&Z Public Hem-inf../Feb~mD, 7, 1989 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />/?'7 <br /> <br /> <br />
