It is truly my wish to meet these goals and continue the City's participation ir. the Certificate of <br />Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting program. I am equally committed to <br />truthfully representing the condition of the City's financial records as w(~ll as its ability to <br />report its financial position and activity for a given year. The Council should no~e that GFOA <br />does not evaluate the quality of financial recordkeeping but only the ability to report the City's <br />financial position and activity in a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
