Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION f89-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 1989 <br />SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 89-5,6,7,8 & 9. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1989 <br />seal co~ting projects (Projects 89-5, 89-6, 89-7, 89-8 and 89-9) <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br />the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />of si <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with fo <br /> in the name of the city of Ramsey of the 1989 sealcoating <br />projects according to the plans and specifications therefore <br />approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of <br />the city Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The award of the project shall be contingent on Mn/DOT <br />approval of the plans for 153rd Avenue between CSAH No. 5 and T.E. <br />No. 47. <br /> <br /> 3) The city Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutions was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being tmken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of June, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
