Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />REPORT TO CONSIDER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE JUNIPER WOODS ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider <br />the improvements of street by tarvia surfacing, the installation of sanitary sewer, storm <br />sewer, and water utilities for Juniper Woods Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accord with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvements of street by tarvia surfacing, the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, <br />and water utilities for Juniper Woods Addition has been filed with the City Council on June 27, <br />1989. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected <br />property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey City Code Section <br />210.01 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br /> 2) The petition is hereby referred to Peter Raatikka, City Engineer, and he <br />is instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as <br />to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br /> 3) <br />Project #89-14. <br /> <br />The abovementioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of June, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
