Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and tLESOLUTION #89-06- RESOLUTION APPROVING PA/RTIAL PAY FOR S.J. LOUIS CONSTRUCTION (PROJECT ~87-19 EXTENSION OF SE~R AND WATER TO INDUSTRIAL AREA). WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on April 14, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City cf Ramsey adopted Resolution %87-!36 awarding the bid to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. for the e):tension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area; and WHEREAS, city Engineer Pete Raati~[a of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to S.J. Louis Construction in the amount of $10,318.09. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area in the amount of $10,318.09. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) The amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution ~89-06- approving payment of bills for the month of June, 1989. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the 27th day of June, 1989.
