Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PERSONNEL COMMITTEE ACTION IN REGARDS TO NON- <br />UNION EMPLOYEE WAGES AND BENEFITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota met on July 18, <br />1989 to review the recommendations of the City Administrator for wages, benefits, and <br />classifications of non-union employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee recommends that: <br /> <br /> 1. Sandra Ashley, Finance Officer, Salary grade 7, be given an increase in <br />wages to $36,638 annually, effective 1/1/89, confirming acceptable completion of a 12 month <br />new employee probationary period; and <br /> <br /> 2. Michael Auspos, Chief of Police, Salary grade 6, remain at the current <br />salary as the LELS contract for the Police Officers has not been settled, and will be reviewed <br />following the settlement of the LELS contract; and <br /> <br /> 3. Mark Banwart, Community Development Director, confirming the Salary <br />grade change from 5 to 5.5, be given an increase to $29,260 annually, effective 1/1/89; and <br /> <br /> 4. Sylvia Frolik, Planning Assistant, be given an increase to $22,681 <br />annually, effective 1/1/89, confirming the promotion from Department Secretary to Planning <br />Assistant and Salary grade change from 2 to 3, with position anniversary date 9/1/88; and <br /> <br /> 5. Kay McAIoney, Personnel Coordinator, Salary grade 3, remain at the <br />current salary, as she was recently hired on May 30, 1989 with the current salary agreed <br />upon by the Personnel Committee and the City Council; and <br /> <br /> 6. Penny Curtis, be given the title of Administrative Coordinator, and salary <br />grade change from salary grade 2 to salary grade 2.5 due to an increase in responsibilities, and <br />be given an increase in salary to $21,983 annually, effective 1/1/89. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, be it further recommended by the Personnel Committee that the employer <br />contribute $182.00 per month toward health insurance including dependent coverage and <br />$5,000 life insurance for employee only for all of the above mentioned employees. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAIVISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the recommendations of the Personnel Committee are accepted and approved and <br />that the Finance Officer be instructed to make the appropriate changes in payroll. <br /> <br /> <br />
