Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION ~89-07 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVING CHANGE ORDER FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 89-16 (HEmaTITE STREET) WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on July 11, 1989, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the Improvement Project 89- 16 Hematite Street N.W. and has presented plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on July 11, 1989, the City accepted the low bid of W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project ~89-2 (156th Avenue) and entered into a contract with W.B. Miller Inc.; and WHEREAS, Improvement Project 89-16 (Hematite Street) is a similar and adjacent project to Improvement Project 89-2 156th Avenue; and WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost in the feasibility for Improvement Project 89-16 was $9,200 and; WHEREAS, the Improvement Project 89-16 (Hematite Street) could be added to the Improvement Project 89-2 156th Avenue by Change Order for a cost of $7,893.75. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator is authorized to execute a Change Order with W.B. Miller, Inc. which would add the Improvement Project 89-16 to the Contract for Improvement Project 89-2 for a cost of $7,893.75. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of July, 1989.
