Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolutio~ and RESOLUTION ~89-08- RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING IMPROVEMENT PRCJECT 89-16 (HEMATITE STREET N.W.) ON STREET WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted July 25, 1989, a report has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the tarvia surfacing improvement of the following street: a) Hematite Street N.W. between 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on August 8, 1989, which report indicates the following: Estimated Total Cost of Project Estimated Total Assessment per Unit (individual property cost): Estimated Annual Assessment per Unit 10 Year Term $11,450.00 $2,862.50 $445.98 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the tarvia surfacing improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to the Ramsey city Charter at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $11,450.00. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 15th day of August, 1989, in the Council Chamber of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:20 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 8th day of August, 1989.
