Cod,.~ilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #8g-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING BID FOR SALE OF STREET DEPARTMENT <br />ASPHALT ROLLER AND TRAILER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 13, 1989 the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #89- <br />06-124 declaring the Rosco roller, Rol-pac Deluxe, serial no. 815 as surplus property and <br />authorized the Cily Administrator to dispose of said equipment by public sale or auction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, sealed bids were received, opened, and tabulated on Monday, July <br />31, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. for the sale of the asphalt roller and trailer and the following bids were <br />received: <br /> <br />City of Andover <br />Hand-Hewn Log Home Company <br /> <br />$300.00 <br />$262.0O <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City of Andover has submitted the highest bid to purchase <br />the asphalt roller and trailer. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That the City Council authorizes the City Administrator to sell the asphalt <br />roller and trailer to the City of Andover for the amount of $300.00. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of August, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
