On May 11, 1989, CiW staff met with the Developers of Dellwood Hills Addition and the property o~mers to the South of the proposed addition. The possible extension of 171st Avenue Norfnwest was discussed. The property owner to the South of Dellwood Hills Addition presented a future sketch plan for his property. Also since the May 2nd Planning & Zoning meeting, the owner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwesl Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9 has indicated his interest in developing his property. The development of this property would extend Bison Street Northwest t~ the South. Lee Hennen, developer, also stated that he was willing to subside the hard surfacing of Bison at a rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) towards each of the other parcels on Bison. The drainage of the site was also discussed. The developer of Dellwood Hills Addition also has proxfided for a Northerly street easement towards County Road ~63. Traffic through Golden Eagle Estates should be minimal with no adverse impact. On June 12, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission moved to receive public input in the form of written petitions and correspondence to reflect that the citizens adjacent to the property are not opposed to the proposed plat, but that their main concern is additional traflSc ]n their neighborhood. The Planning and Zoning Commission moved to recommend preliminaw plat approval for Del]wood Hills Addition as submitted, subject to the conditions listed in the City En~neer's rexfiew dated April 27, 1989, specifically, that the applicant be required to improve or arrange for improvement of Bison Street NW~~ at least torm County Road #63 to 171st Avenue iN~? (No. 4 of the Engineer's recommendation). On June 27, 1989, the Ramsey C/tv Council approved the preliminary plat of Dellwood Hills Addition contingent upon resolution of the issue to pave Bison S~reet Northwest from Count)' Road #63 to 171st. Avenue Northwest. On July 19, 1989, the City of Ramsey received a petition for the improvement of Bison Avenue North west. On Ju)y 25, 1989, the Ramsey City Council tabled action on Lee A_ Hennen's request for final plat approval of Dellwood Hills Addition. Recommendations: Staff recommends final plat approval for Dellwood Hills Addition. Council Action: Motion to adopt/not adopt Resolution #89-08-__ to approve the final plat of Dellwood Hills Addition.
