Park and Recreation Commission kamsey .Municipal C;enter Dear Commisston Members: I an, writing to e):press my interest ir. a position on the City of Ramsey Park and ¥,ecreation Commission. As a homeo~mer with twe children, I am conm~itted to the area and its continuing development. My educational background includes a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a ~sters Degree in Audiology. ! am currently employed as a Territory Manager for Phonic -Ear, Inc. - a company that manufactures equipment for hearing impaired individuals. Prior to my position as Territory Manager, I was employed as the District Audiologist for Anoka - Bennepin Schools. Through my employment with the school district, I became very familiar with Pmmsey and the surrounding communities. Ramsey is a quickly growing community and it is vital that planning is thorough and thoughtful. We have the natural resources here to provide beautiful and exciting places for our families to plaf'. In addition, well planned park and recreation spaces safeguard both our financial and personal investments. I am interested in serving on the Park and Recreation Commission for the following reasons: 1. My family and I have just recenniy moved to Ramsey and I am motivated to become actively involved in the community. 2. Because of my educational and professional background,I am very interested in developing recreation areas ~;p. ich serve the needs of both healthy and handicapped children. 3. We own a home in the Northfork area and would like to see the City of Ramsey and the homeowners work to~enher %o develop this iarfe area of natural resources. in conclusion, ! am highly motivated to serve on the City of Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission, and hope that you will consider me a serious candidate for membership.
