Based on the existing zoning map, the existing laterals in

River's 5end plat have ade~uate capacity tc se~e all the Peterscn
property, River's Bend and Out!or B Rum Acre Estates. As shown
in Table 1 there would be excess capacity of 65 gallons per minute
or capacity to service approximately 94 additional units. This
capacity could se.~vice the original plat of Rum Acre Estates cr
provide for higher density development of the Peterson property.

iV.

PROPOSED FACILITIES

A. Sanitary Sewer
It is proposed to extend the existing 8" lateral sewer
located at the intersection of Waco Street N.W. and !49th
Avenue N.W. The sewer line would be installed north across
the Peterson property in the future location of Waco Street
extended to 150th Avenue N.W. then east in an easement from
Waco Street to the Southwest corner of Rum Acre Estates as
shown on Exhibit A. The proposed sanitary sewer pipe invert
at the plat line is approximately 875.50.

In review of the street elevations in Gorham's Sandy Acres
Estates, a sewer line from the west will have to be
constructed to provide gravity service to that plat.
Therefore, in the future due to some unforeseen reason should
the existing capacity in the lazerals in River's Bend be
re~alred to service other areas of the CiTy, zhe flow from
Outlot "B" Rum Acres Estates could be diverted to the west
follow~ nq the la~erals~ in !50th ~v_..u_' o~, = ~d iEC~h Lane "W
The final decision on wne~he~ the proposed lateral line In

4
