Councilmember moved ~or its adoption. the following resolution and RESOLUTION ~89-08- RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPAP~.TION OF RIGHT OF WAY PI2d~S (i~-:PROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 89-i~ WACO STREET N.W. BETWEEN i49TH AVEIJJE ~.%~. A2~D 150TH AVENUE N.h'.) WHEREAS, the City has ordered and prepared a feasik, ilitv study for the e):tension of sanitary sewer and watermain to the plat of Juniper Woods (Improvement Project 87-27); and WHEREAS, based on the feasibility study, the proposed route ~o_1o~ the e):tension of Waco Street between 149th Avenue ]~.~.[. and !50th Avenue N.~[. ; and WHEREAS, Waco Street between 149th Avenue and !50th Avenue is a Municipal State Aid Street in the City of Ramsey; and ~EREAS, it is proposed to acquire the right of way for the construction of sewer, water and street along Waco Street with MSA ~unds; and ~EREAS, ~[SA streets and right of way to be paid for by MSA funds require approved plans prior to the expenditure of }ISA funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~n_ CITY OF PJ~[SEY, ~OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as ~ 1) That the Waco Street right of way plan is hereby ordered as indicated in the Feasibil~' _~y Study for Improvement Project 87- 27 dated January 20, 1988. 2) That }Ir. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare right of way plans for the making of such improvement. 3) The developer of Juniper Woods shall post the required escrow for the utilities prior to the preparation of the right of way plans. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counci!member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of August, 1989. 4!
