RESOLUTION 89-09- RESOLUTION APPROVING ABATEMENT OF A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, the City Finance Office has confirmed that a clerical error was made by the Anoka County Auditor's Office in keying the Special Assessment payment for Project #79-9, payable in 1990, against PiN # 15-32-25-23-0013; and WHEREAS, the payment payable in 1989 is shown on the County Tax Roles in the amount of Two Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Two Dollars and Two Cents ($2,622.02); and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's records show and the County Auditor's Office has confirmed the amount payable in 1989 should be Two Hundred Sixty Two Dollars and Two Cents ($262.02); and WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Weis, property owner, has submitted an "Application for Abatement" form requesting abatement in the amount of Two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($2,360.00) which represents the over charge shown on the County Roles for Project #79-9. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That the City of Ramsey hereby approves abatement of special assessment in the amount of $2,360.00 for PIN #15-32-25-23-0013 against Project #79-9, payable in 1989. 2 ) That the City Council of Ramsey hereby instructs the Finance Officer to process all paperwork as required by the Anoka County Auditor's Office in this regard and to notify the property owner involved of the Council's action. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; and the following voted against the same; and the following abstained; and the following were absent;
