The completion of that project will <br />be a great benefit to the growth and development of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br /> In review of the proposed 2010 Transportation Plan, we are pleased <br /> to see the proposed Mississippi River bridge crossing shown on the <br /> plan. This bridge will be a major link between Anoka County and <br /> Hennepin County. One concern the City has is that if the bridge <br /> is placed on the State Trunk Highway System, will the project time <br />............. schedule be extended? Perhaps as a joint county project between <br /> the 'counties of' Ano~a -and Hennepin the project could be <br /> .... accelerated. .' _- ' . ...... <br /> <br />In review of proposed changes to the County Highway System, the <br />City is not receptive to acquiring existing county roads. However, <br />in the case of the segment of County Road 83 lying south of 173rd <br />Avenue N.W. which will be replaced by a new alignment of County <br />Road 83, the City would be willing to add it to their street <br />system. Also, the City could take over County Road 63 at such time <br />that the Mississippi bridge is constructed and provided that the <br />County first upgrade the road prior to turning it back to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
