Case #6: <br /> <br />Request For Sile Plan Review Of Landowski Sales (Hayward <br />Auto Sales); Case Of Tom Lanflowski: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwan reported that Tom Landowski is proposing to build a 40' x 60' auto sales <br />faciliD, on Lot 2, Block 2, Alpaca Estates. <br /> <br />Tom Landowski indicated that the faciliv.' is proposed to be a block building. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated Augusl 29, 1989. <br /> <br />John Hayward, operator of the proposed facility, expressed concern with the CiD' <br />Engineer's requirement for concrete curbing versus bituminous curbing. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto explained that B612 curbing is consistent with what is being required in the B-1 <br />Business district because of it's durability and longeviD'. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding silage on the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to recommend <br />approval of Thomas Landowsld's/Hayward Auto Sales site plan subject to meeting the <br />requirements of City Code and the Civ., En~neer's report. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Henci.'-iksen, LaDue, <br />Ten'3', Shumway, Deemer and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Expand Ramsey Auto <br />Sales; Case Of Robert And Louis Wojcik: <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that contra.~' to the Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />recommendation, the City Council is consider/rig approving Robert and Louis Wqjcik's <br />request for a conditional use permit to expand Ramsey' Auto Sales and has requested that <br />the Commission provide input to the proposed conditional use permit. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed conditional use permit. <br /> <br />The consensus was that Item #8 should require completion of blacktopping improvements <br />by December 1, 1989. <br /> <br />The consensus was that Item #13 should reouire consolidation of PL-N's 28-32-25-44-0003 <br />and _8-~~-..5-44-O00-, by December 1, ~ 989. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Zimmerrnan and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to amend hem <br />~ to indicate that 4 off-street parking spaces will be required at both the Ctv.
